DAY ONE
Tsarabanjina 5* Private Island is a magical place where relaxation and carefreeness dominate a breathtaking landscape amidst unspoilt nature!
Tsarabanjina, off the northwest coast of Madagascar, received fame in 1994 when BBC Reality TV show 'Girl Friday' featured Joanna Lumley spending 10 days on the island and living on an A Frame bed and later in a cave.
DAY TWO
Scuba or snorkel through Tsarabanjina mystical underwater world surrounded by a vibrant array of colourful coral.
Be serenaded by humpback whales as the ocean over delivers with sea-life from frogfish to seahorses, nudibranchs and leopard sharks along with the myriad of fish, lobsters, rays and eels. The diving is superb right up there with the best in the world.
DAY THREE
Transfer by boat to Nosy Be (Royal Beach Hotel)
Here you'll find volcanic lakes, lazy lemurs, rum distilleries, coffee shrubs, pepper plants and intricate coral reefs that are practically begging to be explored.
DAY FOUR
Enjoy a morning transfer by speed boat to Ampohana, a small Village on the mainland.
From this base guests will visit Nosy Iranje Island for a beach fish barbeque. Accommodation on Ampohana is very basic and consists of two large A framed beach bungalows with bucket showers and dorm like accommodate on a spectacular beach.
DAY FIVE
Visit the enchanting island of Mamoko, which is still ruled by a Queen.
The entire village on the Mamoko relies on subsistence farming and fishing. There is a 100-year-old tortoise here and a very friendly lemur family.
DAY SIX
Transfer to Ankify by boat and then to Ankarana Forest Reserve.
With forested canyons and Tsingy, a dramatic rock formation, appearing like a forest of often razor-edged limestone. Find rare lemurs, chameleons, plants and birds. Overnight in basic accommodation.
DAY SEVEN
A day in Diego-Suarez, Antsiranana, Northern Madagascar mainland.
A delightful place with white beaches, azure blue sea, good food, hardly any tourists and a warm local population consisting an eclectic mix of Arab, Colonial, Indian and Creole influences.
DAY EIGHT
Helicopter into Miavana, Nosy Ankao, Northeast of mainland Madagascar.
Fringed by white sand beaches and colourful coral reefs, Miavana is a haven of luxury at the ends of the Earth. Raw and refined, this private island sanctuary brings together world-class luxury in a world of rare wildlife and extraordinary landscapes.
